Air Optix for Astigmatism is a silicone hydrogel based contact lens for patients with astigmatism. The lens has been designed to increase the level of oxygen that reaches the eye.
Studies have found that Air Optix for Astigmatism lenses transfer up to five times more oxygen to the eye than traditional soft contact lenses.
The amount of oxygen that Air Optix for Astigmatism contact lenses allow to reach the eye means that some wearers may be able to occasionally sleep with it in their eye.
